Well, Mom is home. And she has a big ol' oxygen tank hooked up so she can breathe. And she's still smoking. Her health is stable for now. She felt pretty good today. I have decided not to say anything about smoking, her health, or her plans. This journey is for her alone, I cannot take the steps for her. I am so very thankful that she is feeling better, though. She scared me.
Thanks for thoughts and prayers.

Girl, I need to start subscribing to your posts in email because I totally missed these last two posts!
I'm so sorry about your mom. I'm glad she's out of of the hospital...that is NO fun to be in.
You said something in your other post about something your friend told you...to learn to love your mom the way Jesus does. I need to learn that about my Mom's husband. Our family has been through some terrible hurt over the past couple of weeks and I have to learn how to forgive him before singing this weekend. What she said gives me a start.
I'm glad she's feeling better. And, yes, biting your tongue is probably the best thing you can do. Parents don't really take to being parented. (Or at least that's my experience!)
